New dominant COVID-19 variant, Eris (EG.5) is the cause in the uptick of infections and hospitalizations in Georgia. As part of our COVID-19 vaccination project, we are encouraging everyone to stay up to date on the latest COVID-19 boosters and to consider wearing a mask at gatherings or crowded spaces. If you are over 50 or immune compromised, be especially vigilant at this time.
