Loren Cameron was a transman. Who documented himself and other trans bodies through the lens of his camera. He published these photos in his groundbreaking book "Body Alchemy: Transsexual Portraits" (Cleis Press). His papers are also archived at Cornel University.
His work gave the outside world insight into the intimate spaces of living and experiencing life as a transman. It is a guide, a resource, and a mirror to transmen future and present.
