Companies hiring during the COVID-19 outbreak

ATLANTA — Even though a lot of small businesses have been forced to close because of the coronavirus outbreak, there are plenty of businesses that are operational and still hoping to hire. Here’s a list of companies hiring in metro Atlanta. Check back often, we’ll be adding to it as we get more.

Ace Hardware:

Ace, the retailer-owned hardware cooperative, wants to hire 30,000 new full-time, part-time, and seasonal workers.


Aldi is hiring in all stores and warehouses.

All Turf:

The Atlanta-based lawn care company is hiring lawn technicians and sales associates.

Allied Universal:

Allied Universal, one of the top security and facility services companies in North America, wants to hire an additional 100,000 employees by the end of 2020.


Amazon said Monday that it needs to hire 100,000 people across the U.S. to keep up with a crush of orders as the coronavirus spreads and keeps more people at home, shopping online.

The online retailer said it will also temporarily raise pay by $2 an hour through the end of April for hourly employees. That includes workers at its warehouses, delivery centers and Whole Foods grocery stores, all of whom make at least $15 an hour.
